National Dog Day

August 26. According to information posted on the National Dog Day site, today celebrates all dogs, mixed breed and pure, and seeks to recognize the number of dogs that need to be rescued each year.

Alison and I adopted our two pups, Lucy and Ethel, five years ago in Princeton, NJ. They bring us enormous love and companionship. We count our blessings everyday.
