People travel from around the world to experience the Vermont foliage, yet there it is, right outside our window, every day. Since late September Alison and I have cherished our daily walks around the Dorset Hollow, pulled ahead by Lucy and Ethel.

The entire Dorset Hollow is alive with soft yellows, reds, browns, and greens.

The garden surprised us with its last fruits of the season, green peppers, which we promptly transformed into the evening’s meal.
