Very fortunate to have been invited to preach at this historic and beautifully updated UCC church located in Peru, VT. Alison and I enjoyed meeting the congregation and helping out Pastor Melissa O’Brien who was out sick this day. Here is a link to today’s sermon. https://bit.ly/3DZDySt

The congregation’s band sang songs from John Prine and John Mellencamp.

During COVID the church received a fresh coat of paint and new seat cushions. The interior design of the church in beautifully done.

Our visit coincided with the Peru Fair, which was held the day before, raising funds for the church and community.
